School.........

So i have been in school for about a month now and I am so not motivated anymore to go to school; sometimes i wish i wouldn't have taken classes this semester, atleast physiology, and just worked and saved money and started school up again in the spring. School isn't horrible besides the fact that i am pretty sure i am failing phys and am so frustrated with it, i study all the time it seems like and i do the study guide and it still doesn't affect my grades on my tests or quizzes. Oh well i guess i will just have to make the best of that class and make sure to do good in my others so i don't have to retake them and then i will just retake phys again sometime. Other than classes i am loving living down in orem with cami and markell; they are so much fun and we are always staying up talking with each other and telling each other our stories and going on Yozone runs!! By the way if you haven't been to Yozone you are totally missing out...they have the best frozen yogurt ever, so if you are ever down in provo you should stop by and try it!! Well thats all for now, i'll update again in awhile.

Life Changing....

So as many of you i'm sure know already i am engaged the most amazing man in the world. Ike Williams proposed to me on 8-9-10 (pretty cool huh!!) and surprised me with the ring i have always loved. The proposal story....so he gave me a puppy, Tyke, back at the end of June and he had been sick a couple of weeks ago and Ike took him to the vet and got him medicine and all that jazz, so he called me and was like hey tyke's blood work came back and he needs to go and have some shots so i'm going to come get him. So he came and got him and after about 2 hours he called me again and said hey i am leaving to go to work and my mom doesn't want tyke here anymore cause she is scared he is going to poop on the floor. I had just finished eating dinner, was in a t-shirt, gym shorts, had my hair in a ponytail, had no shoes on, and all my family was gone except for my brother. So we got in my car and hurried over there to get tyke. I pulled into their neighborhood and all their cars were there including randi jo's and zach's, i wondered why they were all there, but didn't think anything of it. So i called ike to see if i needed to come in the house or what, he said just to walk in; so i headed up the driveway and Tyke comes running out from the garage and had a red ribbon tied around his neck. I picked him up and ike says look at his new dog tag i got him, it was a black bone with his name on it....Ike goes turn it over....on the the other side it says "Will you marry me Carlie Jo?" i just kind of stood there and then he got down on his knee and gave me the ring. My reaction...speechless and then i say OH MY GOSH.....YES!!! Then the family comes out from all their mysterious hiding places....randi jo was behind the suburban taking pictures, josh was in the back of the truck videoing, and the rest of his family was in their house watching out the windows and they all started screaming. So we got some pictures and talked for awhile and then headed over to my house to show my family, then we had to go to all the grandparents house to tell them the big news. After we got done doing that, it was pretty late, but he had planned something so we layed out a blanket in my room and ate cheesecake....it was yummy!!! So now i am frantically planning a wedding and am getting ready to start school tomorrow in Orem at UVU. We are getting married on January 14, 2011 in the Bountiful, Utah temple; i am so excited and can't wait to be married for time and all eternity to my best friend forever!!
