First Time Branding Cows

Wytten absolutely loves being at the farm and everything about it. He gets to be a boy, get dirty, help out, play in all the mud and poop he possibly can find, and try to help out, but really just get more so in the way. My dad asked Ike if he would come help brand cows, he doesn't know a lot about it, but was his weekend off so was willing to go and help out in any way possible. We got them all done, well kind of two escaped the shoot, one was still pregnant and the other is just an onery old cow. We will have to get her next year i guess. We had a lot of fun and am so glad we got to spend a weekend with grandpa and grandma at the farm with the cows and the dirt. 

Easter 2014

Easter was kept pretty simple this year at our house. We are trying to finish our basement so didn't get anything for each other, Wytten got a basketball hoop, some balls, a book (he screamed cause he couldn't have it in the store when i bought it), his new church outfit that I adore on him, and some treats. He loved all his presents and wanted to play with them right then and there. We just hung out at home until it was time for church, got all ready for church, got some cute pictures out on our front porch and then headed off to church. After church we were going to go out to blue creek to Ike's grandpa and grandma's farm, once we got out there we found out they had already ate dinner (we were not very happy about that), wytten had just fallen asleep, and Ike's other grandma was in the hospital and wasn't doing very good. We turned around and headed out to the hospital to go and visit grandma Loretta. After being at the hospital we went over to my aunts house and ate dinner with them and talked for awhile then headed home. Just a normal day at our house...nothing out of the ordinary.
