Going the Distance!!

Well it is official Ike has left to head out to Lake City, Missouri to go and work for the week and I am staying home with tyke and digger as my guards! I don't know how people can send their husbands off to fight for our country and not know if they are going to be back or not. It was hard enough to let ike go for a week and there is about 99.9 percent chance he will be back for sure! It will be a hard week to be away from each other, but hopefully it will go fast for him working the long days he will, and me being busy with work, school, and histeppers. My wonderful sister marlie has graciously agreed to come and stay with me at night...ike didn't want me to be alone and i tend to freak myself out at night when i am home alone. I am glad ike has the opportunity to travel some for work and to get more experience for in the furture; i am thankful for everything he does for me and our future family. Decisions....Decisions...Decisions

I think I have finally decided what I want to be when I grow up....I have changed my major to Health Information Technology will finish that and then go on to either Health Administration or Long-Term Health Care. Haven't quite decided on that yet, but will make that decision when that time comes. It helps that they have about the same prerequisites as Dental Hygiene had I just have to take a couple more classes. I will apply for the program this fall semester sometime and hopefully get accepted that I can start taking classes this coming spring semester. I am kind of torn though because i love my job so much and the people that i work with. I am hoping that i can still work at my job now and finish up this program which will take me between a year and a half to two years and then can try to find a job with the degree i have. I am excited to finally know what i want to do and hopefully it will all work out for the best in the end.
