7 Months Old

 Throughout this last month he has become a lot closer to crawling; he can move around and get where he wants to get to, it just isn't by crawling. He has his own rolling, arching, reaching, and scooting sort of way; he can still go in a circle like it is nobody's business. He loves to sleep on his belly and loves to have his face covered and will fall asleep like a champ. He is sleeping better for me...he goes to bed around 9 or 930 and will wake up around 5 or 530 have a bottle and usually goes back to sleep for a couple more hours.

 He has a new thing of when he is eating his bottle he likes to have his arm over his eyes. Another new thing is when he is getting his diaper changed he has to sit and scratch the right side of his belly. He has also started making puppy noises, he sticks his tongue out and breathes really loud; so funny!! He also was able to have his first stay at a hotel...first night not so good, but the second night was lots better. We were going to take him swimming for the first time, but the swim suit i had wouldn't even go over his thighs (thunder thighs like mom) and i couldn't find one so we will just have to have another vacation so that we can take him swimming. :)

We weren't scheduled to go to the doctor this month, but this past saturday we made a trip to the doctor cause he had a really bad cough, runny nose, and was grabbing at his ears again. He weighed 18.8 lbs with is clothes on, but still i am glad to see he has gained some weight back. Well once again he had a bad ear infection and a viral respiratory infection (thanks to his dad i think he is going to have problems with his ears like ike did). We got him on an antibiotic and he seems to be doing a little bit better; hopefully we won't have to have to many more ear infections before he can get tubes put in his ears to help. Here is to another month of learning, growing, happy moments, and memories. Love this little guy so much!

6 Months

I can't believe how fast time has gone by, it is crazy to think is 6 months old already. The little man has been so lucky to get the yucky grud like everyone else has. He had a double ear infection first, got over that and then got croupe with that nasty cough, runny nose, and really congested. He kind of got over it a little bit from the antibiotic but the doctor said the cough and runny nose can linger for a month after the antibiotic is gone. So we still got it in our house and now I have been dealing with it too, not as bad as him though poor little guy. He had weighed 17.25 lbs when i took him when he was sick, but his 6 month check up he had lost weight and was only 16.69 lbs. He is still going to be a tall kid and was 27.5 inches long. He is still in size 3 diapers and 6 month clothes some being 6-9 just depends. He has mastered sitting up by himself, but still hasn't figured out crawling, he can go in a circle and backwards though!

He is a great little eater, so far he has had pears, bananas, carrots, green beans, peaches, apples, rice cereal. He has also tried juice which he wasn't so sure about, but has decided he likes it...i got a feeling there isn't going to be much that this kid doesn't like and won't eat. My mom bought him some puffs and he loves those...he gets his little jaw goin and fast as he can chewin on them, it is quite funny to watch.

 He loves anything that has lights, especially my computer, ipod, and cell phone (i did get him his own phone, but it just doesn't cut it). He is quite the climber if he is sitting on your lap or layin on your legs he tries to get off of them. He has learned how to arch his back and throw some tantrums when he isn't getting what he wants. He has slept through the night a couple more times for me, but is most of the time waking up once in the night. He just loves to smile at ya and is quite the ladys man when being talked to he just smiles and gets happy. Love him so much...can't wait what the next month will bring.

Wytten's First Christmas

Christmas this year was different than last. I still can't believe Wytten boys first Christmas has came and gone so fast. It was a crazy day full of runnin from place to place making sure to hit all the family and spend time with them. It was a wonderful christmas season and i am glad for which the time both ike and i had off and that we were able to spend together as a family!! Wyttens christmas....a little spoiled. definitely have enough clothes for a couple months and toys for awhile. rockin elmo, sing and giggle mickey mouse, lego books, mickey mouse clubhouse sing along book and movie, mickey mouse chair, ride or walk motorcycle, blocks, lego truck, rhyming book, stuffed horse named 'dallas' (because of the name we couldn't pass it up).

Ikes christmas: picture board for work, new shoes, some work pants, firepit, new shirts, tool bag, pillow, some new movies, jalapeno cheetos (his fave), and some other treats. family picture in the frame we got from ike's great grandma and grandpa's house.  I along with wytten got overly spoiled....new dresser, ninja blender, movie, brigham city temple picture, desk chair, couple sweaters, three pairs of boots, scarfs, shirts, yoga pants, sweats, lots and lots of treats. I got pearls, this man loves to buy me jewelry and I'm not going to complain!

Last and Final Time!

My grandpa dean has been being a santa's helper for as long as i can remember; he quit doing it a couple of years ago because he was just wore out and his knees were making it hard to walk. We were in charge of the Andersons' christmas party so he put on the suit for one last and final time. So we all had to get our pictures taken with it and it was funny to see how wytten reacted. I don't think he is old enough yet to be scared of santa, but he did try to pull his beard off and eat it. It was good to get one last picture with santa and i'm glad we were able to get pictures of wytten with him also.
