Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes!

I came across this delicious recipe on pinterest, looked it up to see just how hard they were to make, two ingredients was all. I though to myself pretty sure I could handles these, so I whipped them up quick. They remind me so much of fall and made my house smell delicious as well when I was cooking them.

Ingredients:
-cake mix of choice (I would use either a spice or chocolate)
-1 15 oz. can of pumpkin puree

Frosting:
-1 package of cream cheese, softened
-1/4 cup of butter, softened
-1 tsp. cinnamon, I added a little more
-1 tsp. vanilla
-3 cups of powdered sugar

Mix the cake mix and pumpkin together and fill your muffin tin holders about 1/2 full. Bake them on 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Let cool completely, then frost away. This recipe for me made 2 dozen cupcakes so if you are making for a big crowd you will want to double or even triple the recipe to ensure everyone gets a chance to taste this delicious piece of fall. I refrigerated mine afterwards to let the frosting set up a bit and then will eat them later tonight after dinner. Enjoy!

Birthday...Wedding Day

We had the privilege of sharing Tayler and Bryan's special day with them. That morning Tayler text me and told me there was going to be a huge party tonight at the church with cake and decorations for my birthday. We headed down to the Brigham City Temple, it was a a very beautiful day and there was a special spirit there. It was good to be in audience and be able to listen instead of at the alter being so nervous and hoping you don't forget those important yet simple words you have to say. They were the only wedding that day because it was Peach day weekend and the temple president sealed them, which was the same guy who sealed Allen and Sheri and their family when they all got sealed. I thought that was a pretty neat thing for them to be able to share. After we were done at the temple and got all the pictures they needed we headed down to Maddox Drive Inn to get a bite to eat. I had never had a peach milkshake from there, but had always heard they were amazing....well they are not only amazing they are totally amazing!! Would for sure spend my money on one of those shakes any day. We then got home just in time to get a couple things done at the house and in the yard and then headed off again to the reception at the church to get more pictures. It was a beautiful reception and they definitely thought of every little detail they possibly could. I was happy that I was able to share my birthday day with them, they won't ever forget my birthday now. :)
