Spring Break

My family was going down to salt lake to stay at the new hotel that has the mini water park in it out by the maverik center and also wanted to go to the zoo. Ike and I had been talking about taking Wytten to the zoo sometime, but it was still a little cold and still don't know how the weather is ever going to turn out. They had asked us to tag along, but weren't sure where Ike would just be gettin off from graves the day before. Well when it got closer it was suppose to be cold and rain the day they wanted to go to the zoo, so they decided to go to the living planet aquarium instead. Ike and I had been there before when we were still dating, so it had been a while so we thought we could tag along possibly depending on how he was feeling after work. When it came right down to it, we decided we would go down, but wasn't sure if we would stay or not so we packed stuff just in case.

We arrived at the Living Plant Aquarium, it was pretty packed, but Wytten seemed to like it so thats all the matters. After we got done there, we headed over to Scheels, half the family had been there and the rest of us hadn't. Absolutely loved the fish tanks they have and the ferris wheel though we didn't ride it cause we didn't want to wait in line for an hour! Pretty darn sure i could put some damage on my bank account in that store as well as Ike....lets just say we would be totally broke. We got done at Scheels and headed out to our hotel to find somewhere we eat....went to the norm Chili's and i got the norm Turkey Club (we are not very adventureous people when it comes to food). It was late enough after we ate that we decided we would stay down and let Wytten swim and then head home tomorrow early afternoon. We were lucky we got to the hotel when we did, we took the very last room they had available, that was a close one. We walked by the pool, holy people everywhere swimming away; they could not keep the towels washed and dried for people to use when they got out. The pool was really packed, but there was still room for us to let Wytten play and splash in the water; he even went down the slide a couple of times. Oh how he just loves the slide, that is going to have to be a purchase we make here pretty soon for him.

The next morning we went down had our breakfast, got in our comfy clothes and headed home so we could go to Markells bridal shower later that day. The girls and Wytten headed home in one car and the boys headed home in another, they were going to a couple of fish stores. We got home and got the present then my mom, wytten and me headed over to aunt lori's house for the shower. The food at her house never disappoints and i always over eat. Markell looked like she had gotten a lot of stuff and i am so happy for her to get married, but sad that she is moving down to salt lake. The rest of the day we just bummed around the house doing odds and ends and watched conference.

Conference Sunday is always a good day, you get to stay in your comfy clothes and be inspired by the leaders of this wonderful church. I can't wait to go back and read through their talks and get even more out of them. I will say it is not as easy to pay attention and listend with a 9 months old as it was when it was just Ike and I. After the first session of conference we headed over to my mom and dads to help my dad and dixon with their fish tanks so we ended up watching the second session over at their house. If you weren't able to watch conference and get spiritually uplifted, you can watch all of the talks here and be able to feel of your dear saviors love for you and how he can speak to each and every one of us through the leaders of this church.

9 Months Old

Each month seems to keep going by faster and faster and I am way behind on blogging about Wyttens past month and the changes that have came about. Well we visited the doctor once again for an ear infection, third one so far (hopefully he grows out of it like the doctor says), and for his 9 month check up. He weighed in at 20 lbs 4 oz and was 30 inches long. He is doing well and just needs to keep eating and getting to be a cuter chubby little boy.

Well since last month he has broken through another tooth next to his other one on the bottom, his top gums look pretty swollen but nothing has came through yet. He is still wearing size 3 diapers, dwindling down on size 9 clothes and moving up to 12 month clothes.  He is officialy crawling on hands and knees, can go from sitting to crawling and vice versa...he is into everything and goes everywhere. He loves to stand up next to the tv and trys to grab the emblems some of the channels have on the lower right corner, so funny to watch. Loves to play with cords and lights especially my computer. He loves to suck on lots of things and pulled the kitchen table chair down on him cause he was pulling on ikes jacket. He still is not a very good veggie eater and will gag when he does eat them, i try and trick him with half veggies and half fruit so i can atleast get him to eat some veggies. He will eat tykes food, well he tries and has gotten it in his mouth a couple of times before i catch him and notice what he is doing and have to dig it out. I guess Ike use to eat dog food too, so hopefully it is not a genetic thing and he is going to want to eat dog food. We are still practicing walking, he just pushes his motorcycle til he can't reach anymore then falls to his knees. Well Wytten you are getting so big, too big, and i wish that you would just stop it. Love you so much!!
