Temple Square

We started a tradition a year ago to go to temple square the first Saturday after Thanksgiving, that way its not into the craziness of December and family parties. We go to eat before hand and then head down to Temple Square to catch all the pretty lights and the gorgeous temple. Ike wasn't feeling very good, so after we got done eating we rearranged rides so that he could head home and Wytten and I could ride home with my mom and dad. All the pictures are courtesy of Marlie and her fancy new camera. I just love the ones of wytten looking out at the temple from the top floor of the memorial building, his face was so priceless when he first looked at it and then turned around to look at me. I hope he can always look at it that way and have it be that special of a place to him. I love this gospel so much and am glad for the knowledge I have of it; I am grateful that I can be with my family forever as long as I am keeping my covenants. I don't know what I would do without my family and their love.

He loved looking out at the temple

Forsberg Family Party
Wytten was fine with santa until he sat on his lap and santa started talking to him. Surprised he didn't recognize 'Santas' voice once he started talking.

Christmas Day

Christmas wasn't too crazy of a day this year, once we have more kids and they get older we will definitely have to do something differently, but until that happens what we do now works. We make sure to go and visit everyone, which usually means get up early and stay out late, but family is everything and totally worth it. We all got spoiled this year as always and got the necessity things that we needed, for the most part anyways. We decided to put a fireplace in our house which was most of our christmas, we got it all done except for the rock, but we wanted to be able to enjoy christmas without a mess. I am loving the fireplace and am glad we decided to put it in.
Ike got me new decorations this year for our tree...I love how it turned out, we got all of it from Garden Gate.

His face was this way with everything he opened. So much funner this year than last year.

Grandma and Grandpa gave us all a Cruise to Alaska....so excited!!

definitely the cutest Mickey Mouse I have ever seen!!

I got a mini pink handgun...guess I better get my concealed permit now.

wytten also got a gun from dad.....dad got him a gun he always wanted as a kid.
