First Christmas!!

Oh how I love Christmas and the hectic day that it is and all the time you get to spend with your family. My siblings wanted to open presents at my parents house at 430 so ike and i got up around 415 and opened our presents from each other and then headed over to my parents. Pulled in the driveway...all lights were off, the door was locked adn there was no way of getting into the house. I called the home phone and my dad answered and he came and let us in and i went downstairs to wake the rest of them up. We opened presents there and then headed to ikes parents and then home to get ready for church. After church the whole day was packed with running from grandparent to grandparents house trying to fit in the time to see everyone. We ended the night at my grandma connie's house for the annual christmas dinner, which was delicious!! Need i say more we had a pretty eventful day and another year has come and gone so quickly and i can't wait for the many exciting things that are going to happen in 2012. :)

New and Improved

We are officially home owners (we have been for awhile but i am just gettin around to blogging about it). We ended up finding this house and knew we would be able to have the room to grow with a family in it and couldn't pass up the price. We had been wanting to buy but wasn't sure if it was the right time or not and kept going back and forth if we wanted to. We would go and look at houses and then forget about it for a couple of weeks then go and look at houses again. This seemed to go on for a couple of months until we finally decided we didn't want to rent anymore and really liked this house. Right now it has three bedrooms and two baths finished with another one of each in the basement that can be finished. It for sure won't be the last house we buy or build, but hey ya have to start somewhere and sometime. So if anyone knows of someone looking to rent a cute little house that has had updates done, let me know and i can get the info for the guy we rented our house from.
