Oh Wytten!!

Since how I have been up with the little man since 3 o'clock feeding him, changing his bedding cause he blew out his diaper and his pj's and got in his crib, bathing him cause of his blow out and he ate so fast he threw it back up which then resulted in me having to clean the chair and bathe myself, and doing the laundry which we had just went through i decided hey i might as well blog some cause i am going to have to be up in 45 minutes anyways to get ready to head to work....what the heck right!? I need to get caught up anyways and it seems i never have the time to cause i just want to cuddle with the little man when i am home. Well everything is going good with wytten and i love him so much even though he may keep me up sometimes, he is now back to sleep and sleeping sound with his football blanket and his arms spread out wide! :)

Another Year Older :)

Well it is official, I am another year older; I turned 22 last week, it was just another day. Megan was so kind to work Thursday so I wouldn't have to; I got to stay home and cuddle with my little man and we made a trip down to walmart to get a couple things we needed. I definitley got spoiled from my family. Ike got me a new digital camera which I love, flowers, and I went shopping with my mom and purchased me some new clothes since I was starting to get sick of them and most of my pants seem to be too big for me, which i am not complaining about. I got clothes and some fall decorations from my mom, money from my grandma marlene, scentsy blocks from tawnie and the boys, a drink canister and money from my grandma jene and grandpa dick, money from sheri and allen, grandma and grandpa williams and roberts. We had some family over on my birthday to have root beer floats. Another great thing that happened was a mini amigo was born on my birthday, one of the greatest birthday presents ever (she definitely has the best birthday), cami richards had her little girl kenndi lauren richards. I feel priveleged that she decided to come on my birthday and i can't wait to go down and see her and love on her. We have already decided that her and wytten are going to be best of friends. :)

 

2 Months Old

I can't believe my little guy is 2 months...good thing I finally got it posted before he turned 3 months. Time has gone by so fast and he is getting so big. At his 2 month appt he weighed 11 lbs 6 oz and was 23 inches long. He has finally grown out of newborn clothes and is now wearing 0-3 months, though some 3 month pajamas are too small for him cause he is so long. He is wearing size 1 diapers. His hair is starting to come back on the top of his head...no longer sporting the grandpa hair do being bald on top! :) He has started to eat more in one feeding up to 4 oz sometimes 4.5 oz. Has had some good nights and some bad nights when it comes to sleeping, still not a consistent sleeper. He loves to lay on the floor and kick his legs; he always has his legs going no matter what he is doing. Absolutely loves his bath time and it is almost like he knows that he has to pee, poop, or spit up on himself to get an extra bath. Loves to stand up and bounces with his legs. Almost has the concept down of always being able to hold his head up. Dad has his doing push up when he is holding him...already getting him ready to work out and be a football player. Recognizes Mine and Ikes voices when we talk to him, follows you with his eyes. Starting to smile all the time especially when talked to, makes cooing noises and acts like he wants to carry on a conversation with you. Has found his thumb and if you aren't paying attention he will have that sucker in his mouth just a going to town on it, whether he has just ate or not.

All Night Long

August 31. 2012....was the first and might i add only night so far Wytten has decided he could make it through the long night without eating. We had gone to the Brigham City Temple open house, which i am determined is the reason he slept through the night, we got home pretty late and he was pooped. It has been a long hot last couple of hours for this little guy. We got home, got him all fed and bathed and i put him down to sleep between 11 and 1130. I woke up the next morning around 6 and realized i hadn't ever woken up in the night and was nervous hoping everything was okay with wytten. I got right up out of bed and headed down the hall to his room and he was still sound asleep with his arms straight out to the side of him and he didn't move an inch when i bent down and kissed him. Granted it wasn' t like it was a extra long time he slept, but hey i was happy for a good nights rest. I can't complain that he has only slept through the night once cause on a normal night he only wakes up twice which isn't bad at all. I love this little guy and i am so thankful for him and the good boy which he has been for us. 

Wytten's Special Day

Labor Day weekend was a crazy one, we usually have our owen family reunion up to beaver mountain, but this year we decided to bless wytten since how he would be about 2 months old. I had been trying to get everything together a couple of weeks before so we weren't scramblin to get everything done at the very last minute, but you know me i didn't get everything done and was still scramblin. Saturday ike had a little league football game and then we ran to brigham to get some last minute things. I needed to get pictures of wytten made up for the tables and for people to take home and i needed to get some more plates for the dessert stands i made (pinterest). Marlie didn't want to go up to beaver moutain with my family for the evening so she so graciously stayed home to help me and she was a big help. Once we got home from brigham we thought we better try his blessing outfit on since how i hadn't done that yet; i had to get him a size 3-6 for the length cause the 0-3 were shorts on him. This made the legs a little big on him, but it wasn't too bad; ike had seen a way to make ties for little boys so he put himself to the test and made one for wytten boy. It turned out so cute and it was precious to see him over on the couch hand sewing a little red tie for his first little boy; i don't know many guys who can hand sew a tie let alone would want to try and do it! Sunday was such a special day, he slept good through the night and woke up normal time and was good through out the day making us hope he would stay that way for the blessing. Right as soon as we got ready to leave to head to church he started to scream, so i got him out and held him for a sec to try and calm him down, it worked until i put him back into his carseat to leave again. We hoped in the short distance we had to drive to church that he would settle down, well the lord blessed us cause by the time we got to church he had fallen asleep. He stayed asleep until all the guys started to touch him up in the circle and it was like he wanted to see everyone that had came to support him and shot his eyes wide open. He has lots of loved ones that came to support him, he had 20 guys in the circle...more like an oblong shape. Ike did an amazing job on the blessing and the spirit was so strong, this little boy is going to have a lot to live up to and will be blessed very much if he follows the things which his dad blessed him with. After the blessing wytten got hungry so i went into the mothers room and fed him; while i was in there ike got up and bore his testimony, i love him and i don't know how i have been so blessed with such 2 amazing men in my life. After church we headed out to fielding town hall to have a luncheon, it turned out good and i had ordered plenty of food (i would rather have a ton left over then feel stupid and not have enough). All in all it was a very spiritual day and i am thankful for the wonderful gospel and the difference it has made in our lives so far. I am thankful that ike is a worthy priesthood holder and was able to bless wytten with the blessing he did. Love you both so much!!
