Maternity Pictures

A special thanks to my awesom sister Marlie who was so kind to take maternity pictures, she could hardly stand herself, she had been searching the internet like crazy to get ideas. We planned on going to some old buildings and out in some fields, but once we walked over to the Coombs' backyard by their old shed we decided we could just stay there and get some good pictures. So we used their old shed and the field and shed by my parents house and got some good pictures. Thanks again Mar for taking them and I am looking forward to having you take pictures of the lil guy when he gets here. <3

The Lil Man

We have been trying to get the room all ready for the when the baby gets here....we are about half way done getting it all ready. Ike got the room painted and the crib up; we got the chair delivered and thanks to the most amazing grandma ever I have made a couple of quilts. The one in the crib is the material we bought first cause i couldn't find what i wanted. The other one is the main quilt with the colors i wanted...i finally got all the squares sewn together and now we are just hand quilting it together (mostly my grandma has been doing it) and i have helped a little bit. We still need to paint the changing table and find a dresser for the many many clothes our little guy has already accumulated (ike is bound and determined the baby has more clothes than he does). I also need to figure out how i am going to decorate and get going on that as well as making the crib skirt to match the quilt.
Time seems like it has flown by...it is crazy to think i only have 7 or so more weeks and our little guy will be here and our lives are going to be changed a great deal for the better. We are so excited for him to come and i love seeing how excited ike has become now that he seen Ruthi right after she was born and held her. It was good to know that he is going to be such a big help when the baby comes and i know he is going to be an amazing father and can't wait til he gets here.

Easter 2012

The saturday before easter we went with my family and had lunch, dyed easter eggs, and the annual family easter egg hunt at my grandma marlene's house. We haven't had many family pictures so i had marlie take some and then some maternity ones as well, but not a lot. It was fun to be with the family that was there and be able to spend time outside. As you can see Ike made the purchase of the little mans first hunting outfit...we'll see how long it takes him to fit into and how chubby he is and gets by october to see if he can go hunting with dad. On sunday we spent the day with Ike's family and had dinner at grandma and grandpa williams' and then had a easter egg hunt. Ike felt pretty important since how he got to hide the silver and golden eggs and it took them forever to find the golden egg. Overall it was a good holiday and good to think about our Savior and everything which he did for us.

Baby "W"

I know most everyone knows by now that ike and i are expecting and i am not very good at updating my blog about it as you can tell. It has been quite the journey we have gone on so far and the farther along i get, the more he loves to practice his punching and kicking (which doesn't help with the number of trips i make to the bathroom) and the more real it is becoming to me. It is crazy to be sitting at work or just relaxing on the couch and feel him moving around and being able to see it. Ike loves to lay in bed at night and put his hand on my belly so he can feel him moving around. We haven't got much bought so far, we do have quite a few outfits, diapers, a recliner, and finally decided on what color to paint the room, purchased the paint and will hopefully get it done soon and get a crib purchased as well. We've got a couple of names picked out and think we have finalized on the one and just got to figure out the middle name.
This little guy of ours loves whopper eggs, coke (especially from taco time w/ their awesome ice), mexi fries w/ casa sauce, mack's fries w/ their fry sauce and just about anything from a fast food restaurant on most days which i am sure is going to do wonders on my figure. I just will have to make sure and stop eating the way i am once the babes comes and start doing some for of exercise. haha On a healthier note he loves any kind of fruit and yogurt!
I am going to try and be better about keeping my blog updated about the baby and how things are going. I have another doctors appt this thursday and we'll get to hear his heartbeat and check to make sure everything is going okay. :)

can't wait to get here so i can kiss on his cheeks

My Valentine Surprise!

It had been a long day at work and i was anxious to get home, ike had said he had something planned but i had no idea what it was. I went to my parents house to pick up tyke, where my mom proceeded to show me all the baby clothes she bought that day on one of her many shopping sprees and then talked to me for awhile after. I didn't think much of it, but once i got home and saw what ike had been cookin up and puttin together it all started coming together. He hadn't been home very long and needed some more time in order to get everything done so he called my mom and told her to stall me as long as she could. Well his plan all worked out because once i got home dinner was on the table with all the works! Thanks so much love for everything you do for me and our future little family, you are always so thoughtful and go above and beyond what you need to do. Love you so much!! <3
