Surprise Trip!!

A couple of weeks ago i came home from work and Ike said to hurry and get changed and finish packing my bags; i asked why and he wouldn't tell, but eventually i got it out of him. He had made reservations at the Hilton in downton SLC for us to stay at that night. We headed down to salt lake and went to eat at chili's then went to the hotel and got all checked in. On Saturday we slept in for awhile and then woke up to get ready for the temple, the then ventured off to eat lunch at wingers and then to find parking for the temple. We arrived at the temple to a warm and cheerful smile from the old man at the recommend booth and then onto the dressing rooms where we were greeted again. We did a session which at the Salt Lake temple is a live one, which was cool to take part in and something different then you see in most. When we were sitting in the first room a cute old lady was sitting next to me, she tapped on my shoulder and then leaned over to say it is so good to see young couples at the temple. It was good to hear her say that and made my time even more special. When in the Celestial Room Ike asked me a weird question, which he later told me about; when he told me what it was about i just started crying and knew that i was loved. After we finished up at the temple, we headed over to the gateway to do some shopping and then headed back home. By the time we got back to the car, my feet were killing me, never wear heels for that long of a time period when you haven't wore them in awhile. It was a short, but sweet trip down to Salt Lake, one i will never forget; i am glad my husband is so sporadic and loves to do fun spur of the moment things. I don't ever know what i would do without him; i love him so much and am excited to spend the rest of my life with him.
we did a session at the salt lake temple...something
that was so amazing and that i'll never forget
the hotel we stayed at...which had a great view on the 18th floor :)

New Life!!

Ike and I have started our new life together....we have finally got all of our stuff at our house and it is starting to feel more like a home. We have got decorations on the walls, but are still looking around for some more to make it our home. We are starting to make improvements, but aren't sure which room to start with first, it will either be the kitchen or the bathroom. Tyke has adjusted fine and likes his new house as well. He has many spots where he loves to lay down and sleep, which is mainly either the couch or the rugs in the kitchen. We are excited for the many adventures this year will bring to us.....later this year we are going to Island Park and to Nauvoo and we can't wait for the many other camping trips and family reunions we will participate in. We will also be putting a sprinkling system, pouring cement, and putting a yard in, so we will have many things to keep us busy! Hopefully all is going well for all of you!! :)

just make it through....

It's official its my last week of classes, for this semester anyways, and then i get to move home and be with my family and fiance everyday i want and i won't only have to talk to them on the phone. I am so excited to be home for the holidays and there are so many things we need to get done with the wedding. This past weekend we got out pre-wedding and bridals done with and got our invitations designed and ordered. Its crazy to think its only a month away before i will be married!! I am super excited and just wish it would get here already so i didn't have to stress over it and get everything done for the wedding. I have to thank all my family and ike cause they have been a lot of help with the wedding; its kind of hard being 2 hours away from everyone and only being home on the weekends and trying to plan a wedding. But when i am home we try to get as much done as we can. It will be good to get this week over with so i don't have to worry about school and can just worry about the wedding and the holidays.

Jazz Game....

Ike and I were able to get tickets to the Utah Jazz and Sacremento Kings game; we were super excited to go especially cause ike had never been to a jazz game, deprived child right!?! I'll just say i haven't been way into the jazz until i moved in with cami and markel that is; they have officially converted me. They are the biggest jazz fans i know next to my aunt megan; if they aren't at the game cheering and yelling, they are at our apartment yelling and screaming for the jazz. Ike and i had lots of fun at the game and can't wait til we can go again; we have tickets for the Jazz and Lakers game in April, but hopefully we are able to go before then!! :)

School.........

So i have been in school for about a month now and I am so not motivated anymore to go to school; sometimes i wish i wouldn't have taken classes this semester, atleast physiology, and just worked and saved money and started school up again in the spring. School isn't horrible besides the fact that i am pretty sure i am failing phys and am so frustrated with it, i study all the time it seems like and i do the study guide and it still doesn't affect my grades on my tests or quizzes. Oh well i guess i will just have to make the best of that class and make sure to do good in my others so i don't have to retake them and then i will just retake phys again sometime. Other than classes i am loving living down in orem with cami and markell; they are so much fun and we are always staying up talking with each other and telling each other our stories and going on Yozone runs!! By the way if you haven't been to Yozone you are totally missing out...they have the best frozen yogurt ever, so if you are ever down in provo you should stop by and try it!! Well thats all for now, i'll update again in awhile.
